VITAS Healthcare is looking for musical volunteers to help provide terminally ill patients and their families comfort and support. Volunteers visit patients in their homes, nursing homes and assisted living communities to play a musical instrument and/or sing to share their talents in therapeutic ways. Comprehensive training, orientation and ongoing support for hospice volunteering is provided. Flexible times are available for volunteering according to your schedule and any time spent visiting patients is greatly appreciated.

Description
Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare, providing friendly, non- medical support to hospice patients and their family or offering support services in the office. We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to volunteers for our patients in their homes or in nursing facilities in the community.
