VITAS Healthcare is looking for musical volunteers to help hospice patients and their families express themselves when words fail them. Artists go into nursing homes and assisted living communities to play a musical instrument, sing, help a patient paint a picture and share their talents in therapeutic ways.
This opportunity is currently available in South County, Jefferson County and in or near Festus, MO 63028.
VITAS takes pride in its volunteers, and we welcome you to become part of our team. There are many locations throughout the area you can choose from. Your commitment is completely up to you, whether you spend one day a week or one day a month. Your time spent volunteering is always appreciated by VITAS staff, patients and families. Description
Volunteers are the heart of VITAS Healthcare, providing friendly, non- medical support to hospice patients and their family or offering support services in the office. We are seeking caring and compassionate individuals to volunteers for our patients in their homes or in nursing facilities in the community.
