We need your help to prepare and serve lunch at the Greenwood Senior Center!

Volunteers are needed to help prepare, serve and clean up the delicious and nutritious lunch offerings. You'll get to work with our head cook and a team of other volunteers in a fun and supportive environment. You'll even get to learn how to incorporate some of our garden harvests into the daily meals.

We are currently looking for volunteers willing to join our Monday team. We also need help with our special occasion luncheons (generally 1-2 times a quarter).

Daily lunch volunteers help from 10 am to 2 pm; lunch is served at noon. Volunteers must pass a background check and have (or be able to get) a valid food handler permit. 6-month commitment preferred.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Phinney Neighborhood Association is to build community by providing programs, services, & activities aimed at connecting neighbors and fostering civic involvement in our diverse community.

Description

Our programs include a hot meal program, a senior center, pre-school co-ops, before- and after-school programs for kids, an art gallery, and a DIY Hub including a tool rental library and Community Woodshop. We host community events throughout the year, including a Winter Festival, two beer tastes, a wine taste, Day of the Dead and Holi celebrations, book exchange events, Bingo/Karaoke parties, small community potlucks, a crochet group, concerts for families, and more.
