Front Desk Volunteers may be needed at any of Harford County Office on Aging Senior Centers (Aberdeen, Bel Air, Edgewood, Fallston, Havre de Grace). Enjoy interacting with the public by answering phones, greeting members, giving tours, making copies, filing, making phone calls, checking bulletin boards, shelving library books, and other duties as assigned. Since volunteers are so vital to setting a positive tone for the senior centers at which they serve, we ask volunteers to present a professional appearance, a welcoming and friendly attitude, and good work ethic. Attention to detail is important. All volunteers must attend a brief Food Safety In-Service training session so that in the event he/she is needed to help with serving or preparing food, they will know what to do. Must be willing to abide by the guidelines and procedures outlined in our Volunteer Handbook. Hours: Centers are open Mon-Fri, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm.
