Empath Health- Suncoast Hospice
If you are someone who enjoys working behind the scenes, using your administrative, organizational or planning skills - this is the volunteer role for you!
Volunteer a few hours a week, a couple hours a month, or one-time. No experience or medical background necessary; training is provided at no cost.
Office/Administrative Support - Provide office and computer support, greet guests in the Welcome Centers, answer phones and input data. Strong computer skills a plus, but not required. Offices located in Palm Harbor, Clearwater and St. Petersburg.
Corporate Volunteer Program- Empath Health partners with corporations and local businesses that encourage volunteerism within their workplaces and are interested in supporting our mission. Projects vary according to a group’s size, location preference, employee skills and interests, the time of year, as well as the needs of the Empath Health members. Training: Not required for one-time only volunteer projects
Maintenance/Durable Medical Equipment (DME) volunteer- assists maintenance and/or DME technicians with functions including pressure washing, painting, carpet cleaning, meeting room set-up, and light maintenance or carpentry tasks.
Special Events - Assist in making fundraising and friendraising events successful. Welcome guests, sell drawing tickets, solicit audition items and sponsorships. Visit the Suncoast Hospice Foundation website for more information on upcoming events.
Empath Cafe Assistant- Provide cashier assistance and customer service for the caf? at the Clearwater Community Service Center.
Volunteer Orientation is a four-hour training session for individuals interested in learning more about Empath Health’s volunteer opportunities.
