RMH is a non-profit organization operated almost entirely by volunteers. We are open 24 hours a day--365 days a year. We are a home away from home for families who have a seriously ill child in one of our local hospitals. Help us provide strength in numbers by becoming a House Volunteer or assist a family by cooking an evening meal at our House.
Openings for volunteers committing twice a month to a 4 hour shift. Visit www.rmhjoplin.org to print application and contact house manager for interview.

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and well being of children.
Description
Ronald McDonald House Charities, a non-profit, 501 (c) (3) corporation, creates, finds and supports programs that directly improve the health and well being of children. Its grassroots-driven programs offer help where children need it most - right in their own communities. RMHC makes an immediate, positive impact on children's lives through its global network of local Chapters in 52 countries and regions and its three core programs: the Ronald McDonald House, Ronald McDonald Family Room and Ronald McDonald Care Mobile. These programs provide a bridge to accessible health care and allow families more time together, which helps in the healing process. RMHC and its global network of local Chapters also have hundreds of millions of dollars in grants and program services to children's programs around the world.
