We invite volunteers to assist park staff in planting trees at Wilderness Gardens County Preserve. This is a great opportunity for volunteers of all ages. Volunteers will be encouraged to bring their own gloves, water, snacks. Wear sturdy shoes, hats, sunscreen.
In recent years the Golden Spotted Oak Borer Beetle and Shot Borer has killed many trees in our parks. Now we're on a mission to plant thousands of trees and need your help!
For more information about this project, please contact our rangers at: 760-742-1631.
