The "Instrument Petting Zoo" travels to daycares, preschools and elementary schools in Ann Arbor and the surrounding area. This program gives kids a hands-on experience of the instruments while they learn about the orchestra and the science of sound. Volunteers are needed to assist staff members at these events by helping students hold instruments and encouraging them while they try to play. No musical experience is necessary. If you like kids and music, this would be a great volunteer experience for you!
