Do you want to form a meaningful connection and help someone in your community? Isolated older adults and adults with disabilities would be grateful for volunteers to drive them to buy groceries and/or pick them up on their behalf, or run other errands (pick up prescriptions, etc.). Schedules vary and are flexible (weekends and weekdays), every other week.

Needed throughout Fairfax County, and especially in the Falls Church, Annandale, McLean, Springfield, Lorton and Alexandria regions. Needs change and vary. (Not limited to these cities.)

The Fairfax Area Agency on Aging (AAA) serves older adults, adults with disabilities, and family caregivers in Fairfax County and the cities of Fairfax and Falls Church. The goal of the AAA is to improve quality of life and promote independent living for older adults. We are a partnership of Department of Family Services, Neighborhood and Community Services and the Health Department.

Our mission is to support older adults and adults with disabilities in a variety of ways. We provide volunteer services to help people to remain in their own homes/communities and improve their quality of life.
