Do you love yoga or fun and engaging exercise? Want to give back to families in your community? Lead a monthly class for SAHA residents in Berkeley!
We are looking for a fun and enthusiastic volunteer to teach Zumba or another fun form of exercise once a month. Our families greatly benefit from learning exercise moves that will help their physical and mental wellness. If you want more information or you're not sure if you're qualified, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator at volunteer@sahahomes.org to discuss this opportunity further!
ABOUT THE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM: SAHA's Volunteer Program is managed by the Volunteer Coordinator, who supports volunteers and supplies all materials needed for the activity. Please note that we are only able to accommodate those with M-F 9AM-5PM availability, with the exception of some One-Time Events. In the interest of offering consistent social activities for our residents, we expect that volunteers will offer activities weekly or twice a month at a regular time and day. Residents greatly appreciate and look forward these activities as well as enjoying the company of volunteers who make them possible. Please sign up today!

Description
The purpose of the SAHA's Volunteer Program is to improve the quality of living and promote health and well-being for Satellite Housing's residents. Volunteers will help foster community by facilitating activities for the residents, such as exercise groups, art classes, discussion groups, providing health and wellness information, leading or participating in games, assisting with special events, etc. The residents really appreciate the effort that is put forth by the volunteers, and look forward to the weekly interactions.
