The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (R.S.V.P.) is a nationwide service program for adults age 55+. Our Knoxville, TN office recruits volunteers and helps them find community partners to serve!
Volunteers improve the Knoxville community through a wide variety of service opportunities and partnerships. Volunteers can help with:
- Calling lonely seniors to keep them company
- Drive seniors to appointments and errands
- Visit with seniors in hospice care
- Deliver meals to the homebound
- Serve at your local senior center
- Support local events that focus on seniors
And much more!
Benefits include having a positive purpose and impact, volunteer insurance while serving, annual events for recognition and more. RSVP is a program of AmeriCorps Seniors and is hosted by CAC's Office on Aging.
