Are you a student or recent graduate seeking an internship that allows you to work with different cultures? Are you interested in working with refugees? Would you like to learn more about non-profit organizations? Then become an intern at the Nashville International Center for Empowerment (NICE)!

Description
The Nashville International Center for Empowerment, formerly the Sudanese Community and Women's Services Center, offers refugees and immigrants who have resettled in Middle Tenessee direct social services designed to ease their transition into their new lives in America. NICE offers classes in English, citizenship, GED, computer, and job training, as well as youth and immigration services. These programs are designed to empower these new Americans to provide for themselves and their families and to become productive members of American society.

- Internships at NICE require a commitment of at least 15 hours a week for a minimum of 2 months or a semester of school but schedules throughout the week are flexible depending on the internship.
