Dogs Forever

We are a small "no kill" shelter in Cedar Rapids, IA. We are 100% donation and 100% volunteer driven. We need volunteers who want to work 2 hour shifts taking care of our dogs. This entails walking, feeding, and playing with the dogs. Also some light cleaning (sometimes the dogs decide to make a mess!). We have a flexible schedule that can work with almost everyone's busy lives. Please consider becoming part of our team!

All volunteers must be 18 years of age or older and physically able to handle strong/big dogs. We do not take people doing court-ordered community service. Volunteers are not allowed to bring their children or anyone else with them when they volunteer, unless the person with them is also a volunteer with the group.

We ask that volunteers do at least two shifts per month.

We do 3 shifts per day, 7 days a week:

6 am - 8 am

Noon - 1:30 pm

6 pm - 8 pm
