If you are a "hands-on" type of person, whatever your availability, we want to hear from you! The role of the volunteer will be to provide vulnerable isolated people with practical help. Whatever your skills or interest, we can match you to clients who require assistance. Some things you could offer are: - Short term Cleaning - Gardening - Shopping - Running errands - Painting/Decorating. Communicare in Southampton is a charity and the support we provide to our clients is only possible thanks to our solid bank of volunteers. Whether you can offer 1hr a week or 20hrs, we want to hear from you!
What are we looking for?- Practical skills (may be one particular or several). There is no firm list, so please be clear about what you are prepared to offer, whether it's cleaning, shopping, gardening, errand-running (mileage reimbursed) etc. - Willing to provide references - Friendly and caring attitude - A DBS check may needed (cost met by charity)
