A 5K fun run or walk. The Denver Gorilla Run is a charity "fun" run and everyone who takes part gets a full gorilla or banana suit to keep (part of the registration fee, provided by the event organizers). Following the event, particpants great to enjoy great food and music. All funds raised by the Denver Gorilla Run helps to protect the remaining mountain gorillas and keeps Dian Fossey’s dream alive for the past 32 years.

The Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund is dedicated to the conservation and protection of the highly endangered Mountain Gorillas in Africa, the preservation of their habitat, and working with the people around the National Parks.
Description
The Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund hosts a fundraising event in various cities throughout North America. The fundraising event is called the 'Gorilla Run' which is a 5K run/walk/ride event in which all participants receive a gorilla suit to keep.
