Mission Statement

The Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund is dedicated to the conservation and protection of the highly endangered Mountain Gorillas in Africa, the preservation of their habitat, and working with the people around the National Parks.

Description

The Mountain Gorilla Conservation Fund hosts a fundraising event in various cities throughout North America. The fundraising event is called the 'Gorilla Run' which is a 5K run/walk/ride event in which all participants receive a gorilla suit to keep.

It was a blast, the atmosphere was fun and lively. Everyone was incredibly nice and welcoming. I will however be returning next year, not as a volunteer, but as a participate with my son.
