Volunteer Assisted Transportation

If you're passionate about seniors and individuals with disabilities WE WANT YOU! Want to help the community but too busy with school, work, and life!?

Have no fear! The Volunteer Assisted Transportation program may be just right for you. CAC is excited to provide the Volunteer Assisted Transportation program to individuals who require aid and assistance to travel safely...but we need YOUR help!:

  • Build a one-on-one relationship and assist folks to medical appointments, shopping trips, beauty appointments, and other fun activities.
  • Make your own schedule and volunteer weekdays, evenings or even weekends.
  • Drive our agency-owned vehicles
  • Receive first aid and CPR certification

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Minimum of three years driving experience and have an excellent driving record.
  • Ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical exam
  • Participate in a drug and alcohol program
  • Pass a criminal background check
