A nonprofit residence for seniors in Ann Arbor has a variety of volunteer opportunities available.

One to One Visits: Spend time with a resident - visit or help with a variety of activities including: reading, writing letters or taking them for a walk on a pleasant day.

Daily Life Enrichment: The Life Enrichment Department offers a wide range of activities for each floor. The long term residents enjoy exercises, word games, bingo, creative writing and art groups. Short term rehab. residents may participate in scrabble, chess or a "pre-game" tailgate party!

Pet Visits: Bring your pet (dogs only please) for group or one-to-one visits. Animals must be trained therapy dogs, through programs such as Therapaws or Pet-a-Pet.

Beauty Shop Transport. Transport residents to the Beauty Shop and back.

Church Services: Catholic services are held every Tuesday afternoon, and ecumenical Christian church services every Wednesday afternoon. Help transport residents to these services.

Piano/Instrument Playing: We welcome anyone with these talents to come into any area of the facility to play informal mini-concerts for the residents. Also, if you are interested in volunteering on a regular basis as a musician for church services, parties or special events, please let us know.
