We are in need of enthusiastic volunteers for Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Volunteers are NOT required to come EVERY Tuesday and Thursday, but we do ask they come at least 3 times a month (to develop relationships with the adults or children dependent on where you serve). Volunteers have the choice between tutoring/reading with a child one-on-one or playing with the children in a recess like setting. Volunteers can also choose to be a teacher’s assistant with the adults as they learn English. Mostly, we need volunteers to act as mentors and friends to children and adults alike who may be in difficult life situations. Our families are friendly and outgoing and it is impossible to leave with anything but a smile! Come join in the fun! You won't be disappointed. Our three pillars: to feed, educate, and serve. By providing resources such as 3-Generation Family ESL to families and Summer Lunch Camps for children, Festa programming offers motivated neighbors the opportunity to better provide for their families.
