Individuals are asked to commit to one shift each week to care for the cats that are temporarily housed at the Petco store in Burke. Volunteers give the cats fresh food and water, scoop the litter, clean the cages and provide love and attention to the cats. Training will be provided.
Morning shifts, which can be done anytime between 9 am and noon, are currently available.

Mission Statement
The 4Paws Rescue Team is a nonprofit community-based all volunteer organization that takes in neglected, abandoned, abused and unwanted cats and kittens. Cats rescued by 4Paws receive vaccines and appropriate veterinary care before being adopted into permanent, loving homes. An animal rescued by 4Paws will never be euthanized except out of medical necessity.
Description
We are a group of volunteers caring for cats in our homes and in area store cages until they are adopted. We hold adoption fairs at local Petco stores.
