Kids Vision for Life is recruiting volunteers to help participate with vision screening and vision examination days at local elementary schools in St. Louis. This is an opportunity to give back to the community and have fun while doing it. No experience is necessary, you will be shown what to do the day you volunteer.
Sounds easy, huh? It is! Last school year Kids Vision for Life prescribed over 1,400 pairs of glasses, help us make an impact and prescribe more during the 2015-16 school year!
Kids vision for Life volunteer opportunities are offered M,T,W,Th, F 9am-1pm during the school year (August-May)

Description
Kids Vision for Life St. Louis (KVFL) provides vision screenings, eye exams and new eyeglasses to students in need, ages 5-18, at no cost to the family. Vision screenings, eye exams, and prescription eyewear are provided to elementary, middle, and highschool students who would not otherwise be able to obtain eyecare.
KVFL currently provides vision services for the following school districts: St. Louis Public Schools, Riverview Gardens, Jennings, Ferguson-Florissant, Bayless, St. Charles, Fox, Normandy, Maplewood Richmond Heights, Mehlville, Hancock Place, Ritenour, Pattonville, as well as several charter schools in the area.
