Special Olympics Florida is hosting the 2022 State Surfing Championship at Alan Shepard Park in Cocoa Beach on Saturday, August 27. Athletes from across the state will be competing in this event and we rely on volunteers to make this event possible.
Volunteers will be assisting with the following duties:
- Help with Check-in, and Staging the Athletes for competition and with awards

Description
Special Olympics Florida provides sports training and Olympic-style competition to more than 60,000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and developmental disabilities throughout the state. Special Olympics Florida is a Level I Accredited Program (highest level of accreditation granted by SOI) and is divided into 11 area programs, which cover over 55 counties.
