Swim Coaches Needed for Special Olympics

City of Tempe Adapted Recreation is recruiting volunteer coaches for Special Olympics swimming. Coaches will work under a head coach and will work with individual or small groups of athletes in the pool as they practice various swimming and stroke techniques.
Coaches do not need to be expert swim coaches, but must be capable swimmers. We are looking for individuals who are outgoing and want to make a positive impact with Special Olympic athletes while having fun!
Practices are held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Fridays, from August 12 through October 7, at the Kiwanis Recreation Center.
