CCJ Home Repair volunteers aren't construction pros -- they are people with hammers and hearts. With basic home repair skills, this task force makes health and safety repairs to people's homes in the Quad City area. These range from accessibility ramps and minor electrical and plumbing repairs, to installing smoke alarms and carbon-monoxide detectors. All of the clients are low income, and many are elderly and/or disabled.
