Feeding America Southwest Virginia’s Mobile Food Pantry is looking for volunteers! The Mobile Food Pantry has received the Jeff Byrd Grant through Speedway Children’s Charities and will be providing Children’s Summer Health Fairs at the June and July distributions.
We are looking for at least 15 volunteers per distribution to come help with children’s activities. Each distribution lasts 4 hours.
Volunteers should be at least 15 years old.
Prior experience working with children is a plus.
Volunteers will follow simple 1-2-3 set activity instructions.
Opportunities are available in Buchanan, Dickenson, and Grayson counties.
Volunteer for one or several events.
Come help children learn about nutrition and making healthy choices!
