Feeding America Southwest Virginia

This past week I helped distribute lunches to children with the Cafe to Grow truck and I also helped distribute meals from the Community Solutions Center. The staff and fellow volunteers at Feeding America Southwest Virginia immediately welcomed me in. It is clear that they have built strong relationships with the communities they serve. Not only do they provide food to those who need it, but they get to know the families, their names, and their stories. I plan to volunteer with them again when I get a chance!
