Speak Mandarin? Enjoy games? Want to engage with your community? Many of our residents look forward to playing Bingo on a regular basis. It gives them a chance to build community while sharing a common interest. Volunteer at Oak Strret Terrace to call bingo for our seniors!
ABOUT SAHA: Satellite Affordable Housing Associates is committed to providing quality, service-enriched, affordable housing to East Bay residents. By offering consistent, volunteer-led programing, we hope to build community at each of our properties, providing accessible socialization alternatives and allowing our senior residents to age in place. ABOUT THE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM: SAHA's Volunteer Program is managed by the Wellness Coordinator, who will contact you upon being notified by VolunteerMatch and supply all materials needed for the activity. Please note that we are only able to accommodate those with M-F 9AM-5PM availability. In the interest of offering consistent social activities for our residents, we expect that volunteers will offer activities weekly or twice a month at a regular time and day. Residents greatly appreciate and look forward these activities as well as enjoying the company of volunteers who make them possible. Please sign up today!

Description
The purpose of the SAHA's Volunteer Program is to improve the quality of living and promote health and well-being for Satellite Housing's residents. Volunteers will help foster community by facilitating activities for the residents, such as exercise groups, art classes, discussion groups, providing health and wellness information, leading or participating in games, assisting with special events, etc. The residents really appreciate the effort that is put forth by the volunteers, and look forward to the weekly interactions.
