The 9th annual Zombie Walk/Prom will be on Friday, 9/27/19 and kicking off the beginning of Hunger Action Month and the Halloween season for Haunted Hearse Tours. This event is wonderful fun for the whole family and starts at the Irish Bred Pub in Downtown Montgomery, bring your canned food and monetary donations to benefit the Montgomery Area Food Bank and join in the festivities. The Walk/Prom will go to the Alley for "PARTY in the street". We will need some volunteers to help collect, box and load the food donations into my truck the evening of the event from 5:00 pm to about 7:30 pm or so. Also in need, 2 volunteers that may have their own cameras that could take photos and put on disc for us would be very beneficial to us.

The Montgomery Area Food Bank serves the needy across Alabama through member agencies by soliciting, procuring and distributing excess food, grocery and household products.
Description
We are a private, non-profit organization that, since 1986, has been providing emergency food assistance to our neighbors in need. As a warehouse distributor of surplus, donated food, as well as USDA product and some purchased products, we distribute food to needy clients through our partner agencies, who work with us to eliminate hunger and its harmful effects via special programs. We currently serve 35 counties across Alabama.
