Volunteers are needed in our Family Thrift Stores! Our family stores support many great causes such as our family residential shelter for men, women and children.
If you would be interested in recovering the store, maintaining clothing racks, pulling color tags, and assisting with our fitting rooms then this opportunity is for you!
Wednesdays are one of the busiest days of the week since everything is deeply discounted for our Wacky Wednesday’s.
The revenue we receive from our Family Stores will provide funding for some worthwhile projects such as our Family Shelter, Food Pantry, our Community Resource Center. These programs assist families in need with utilities, rental assistance, and so much more!

Description
The Salvation Army Fort Myers Area Command includes many locations offering multiple programs and services. Facilities include a residential shelter, Red Shield Community Resource Center, Outreach Centers in Bonita Springs, LaBelle, and Lehigh Acres, a Worship and Administration center. Programs include a comprehensive care program, family shelter, a correctional services program, a food services program which includes evening meals for the homeless and needy, crisis management for those on the verge of homelessness, an Angel Tree outreach ministry to disadvantaged homes in the area, and more. These social service programs help thousands of people each year and are very rewarding to be involved with.
