CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) for Children of Mercer and Burlington Counties is seeking volunteer advocates who want to make a difference in the life of a foster child. CASA volunteers are trained to be a voice for children who are in the foster care system due to abuse or neglect. These children are caught in the tangle of the legal system and need someone to speak up for them. Volunteers make recommendations for the benefit of the child in terms of placement and services.
Volunteers need no special background, we provide all the training you'll need. Volunteers need to be over 21, have a driver's license and be able to pass national, state and local background checks.
