Since 1969 Reach to Recovery has been helping newly-diagnosed women and men cope with their breast cancer experience. This program offers the latest science-based information, community resources and support to all persons challenged with breast cancer.
All Reach to Recovery volunteers are breast cancer survivors. They go through a specialized training to be able to provide support to breast cancer patients. You will be matched to patients that are going through similar experiences that you have. You will provide information and support on lumpectomy, mastectomy, reconstruction, treatments, rehabilitation exercises, prostheses, support groups, and other resources.
