Children Across America: Empowering Communities
We are looking for a strong, Dynamic, experienced social media manager that can guide us to better exposure. Not only to create and manage social media sites but to produce posts that spur interaction and provoke thought without being controversial. We need someone who knowswhat direction social media is going and how to be in front of it. We need to increase our exposure with an EXTREMELY limited budget. Our Social Media Manager will manage and coordinate our social media platforms: Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest, Wordpress blog. We are a 100% volunteer organization and have plenty of people to help but we need a leader.
Children Across America, a humanitarian organization, provides preventive healthcare, literacy support and STEM programming to under-served children in the United States. Its vision is to empower families and children in low-income communities. Its unique programs are focused on improving children’s health and drive educational excellence.

Key responsibilities for the team are:
- Oversee the management of our social media pages
- Manage all published content: images, video and written content
- Develop a social media strategy and implement a proactive process for capturing online reviews
- Compile report for board members showing results
-Monitor online ratings
-Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy

Children Across America is a 501 (c)(3) (EIN 27-0355388), humanitarian organization. Children Across America provides literacy support and preventative healthcare to underserved children in the United States. Its vision is to empower families and children in low income communities. Its unique programs are focused on improving children’s educational excellence and health. The organization partners with local libraries, school systems healthcare advocates and hospitals to ensure children get the full benefit of its programs. We provide a free alternative program to underserved families with students in grades K-5, who can't afford a private tutor, or professional tutoring services such as Kaplan or Kumon.
Description
CAA has a combination of medical and educational programming.
Our main educational program is a STEM and Coding program for all children. We also focus on children K-5 grade that come from families that English is not their first language. Our Summer Reading and Math Club (Children's Book Club) and our Saturday Reading and Math club's goal is to raise the level of literacy in America's children. Our Math Clubs are to help develop children's basic math skills. We help all children but our main focus is the underserved population of America. Our signature program is our Summer STREAM and Girls Love to Code Club, that runs from July through August and our Saturday STREAM and Girls Love to Code Club that runs each Saturday.
Our main medical program and focus of our medical programming is Health Promotion in motion. This is a immunization and preventative healthcare initiative focused on making sure every child in America is immunized per CDC guidelines and has healthcare coverage. We are a vendor for the State for Mass healthcare signps.
