Volunteers are needed to provide child care on Thursday evenings between 6-8 pm and Saturdays between 11 am - 1 pm at the Volunteers of America Bannock Youth Center. The Center provides a transitional housing program and teaches life skills to homeless and formerly homeless youth ages 16 - 24, many of whom have families of their own. Two child care volunteers are needed for each shift to entertain the clients' children while the clients are attending the life skills classes. Volunteers who can provide a meal to the clients and their children on Thursday evenings and/or Saturday afternoons are also welcome. The Bannock Youth Center has a fully functional professional kitchen or meal volunteers are welcome to bring food to the Center.
