The VCAAA’s Senior Garden is a working garden located adjacent to FOOD Share. It is an ongoing collaboration between Ventura County Area Agency on Aging, the Ventrua County Probation office, and FOOD Share. This garden provides fresh fruits and vegetables for the Senior Nutrition Program, the SENIOR Share program, and to FOOD Share partner agencies. We are always looking for volunteers to help Gray Wilking with all aspects of maintaining this beautiful garden.
Tasks include: Hand weeding, weeding with a hoe, harvesting vegetable, planting seed, installing irrigation.
