BECOME AN VIRTUAL VOLUNTEER!
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A RELIABLE LONG-TERM VOLUNTEER TO ASSIST WITH DATA ENTRY TASKS. THIS PROJECT INVOLVES RECORDING INFORMATION ONTO A SPREADSHEET. YOU MUST BE COMPUTER LITERATE AND PROFICIENT IN EXCEL AND MS WORD. ABLE TO WORK A MINIMUM OF 2 TO 3 HOURS A DAY OR 12 HOURS PER WEEK OR MORE. TIME AND DAYS ARE FLEXIBLE. VOLUNTEER MUST BE DETAILED ORIENTED AND HAVE OWN COMPUTER OR LAPTOP WITH THE ABILITY TO CONNECT VIRTUALLY FOR COMMUNICATION AND EMAIL.

Description
Volunteer duties may bedifferent depending on the nature of the case and the law enforcement agency. The Victim Assistance Volunteer will mainly provides the following services:
• Crisis intervention and Victim Advocacy
• Information on the status of criminal cases
• Referrals to victim service providers
• Notification of court proceedings
• Accompanying victims to court proceedings.
• Assistance with completing Crime Victims’ Compensation and Victim Impact forms
