We are looking for volunteers to deliver a smile to patients in the hospital. We need volunteers to help with our Activity Cart!
1. Pick up Activity Cart and do quick inventory of necessary supplies and restock if needed
2. Visit designated units with cart, stopping in each patient room where patients look like they could do crafts
3. Display samples for patients to select a project
4. Check off the kit on the inventory as it is given to the patient
5. Return to Volunteer Office and Activity Storage Room to restock cart as necessary; leave a note on desk listing items that are low and need to be reordered
6. Return cart to locked storage room
7. Assemble craft kits (optional)
You must be a volunteer at HCMC. Our application is on our website, www.hcmc.org/volunteer.
