Imagine struggling to read a prescription label, fill out a job application, or help your child with homework. Many adults in our community face these challenges every day.
The Adult Literacy Program at the National City Public Library is seeking dedicated Volunteer Tutors to support adults in reading, ESL, math, citizenship, and more.
We offer free, confidential literacy instruction to individuals 18 and older who are out of school and speak English. The library provides all the resources, training, and study spaces you need to make a difference.
