Hospice patients and their families are in need of friendly volunteers to visit them. Volunteers spend time with patients to enhance their day. Volunteers might read a story, newspaper or read some jokes. Also, volunteers celebrate birthdays, play a game, sit with a patient outdoors, spend time connecting. Volunteers typically visit once a week, or once every other week. These volunteer visits support not only the patient but also the family.
Orientation and training are provided. Our Volunteer Team is full of amazing people who share the desire to help others. You will make the most amazing friends!
