LSS Caregiver volunteers visit older adults at their homes and in the community for a few hours each week allowing family caregivers to take a well-deserved break to run errands, rest and recharge.
During visits, volunteers offer older adults friendship and support at home. They may also assist by driving them to activities, doctor's appointments or to run simple errands. By giving just a few hours of your time each week, you change lives and make an impact in your community!
A $200 monthly living allowance, $1600+ educational award and other benefits are available to program members. Educational grants can be gifted to a child, grandchild or foster child (for volunteers who are over 55).
The life you end up changing might be your own!
