SOUTH SHORE ELDER SERVICES SEEKS VOLUNTEERS TO DELIVER MEALS ON WHEELS IN BAD WEATHER WHEN OUR REGULAR VOLUNTEERS CANNOT DO SO.
WE DELIVER IN OUR SERVICE AREA MONDAY- FRIDAY. OUR MISSION IS THAT NO ONE GOES HUNGRY, AND WE MAKE EVERY EFFORT TO DELIVER THAT PROMISE!
REQUIREMENTS: RELIABILITY, AVAILABLE ON QUICK NOTICE, GOOD DRIVING SKILLS, A "REAL TROOPER" KIND OF ATTITUDE, COMPLETION OF VOLUNTEER APPLICATION AND CORI CHECK.
NOTE; OUR SERVICE AREA COVERS THE FOLLOWING TOWNS: BRAINTREE, COHASSET, HINGHAM, HOLBROOK, HULL, MILTON, NORWELL, QUINCY, RANDOLPH, SCITUATE, WEYMOUTH.
DRIVERS COULD BE NEEDED TO DELIVER IN ANY ONE OF THESE COMMUNITIES.

SSES is a private non-profit agency established in 1977. Based in Braintree,MA, we serve Braintree, and the surrounding towns of: Cohasset, Hingham, Holbrook, Hull, Milton, Norwelll, Quincy, Randolph, Scituate, Weymouth. We are committed to providing a wide range of programs and services to elders over the age of 60, and their caregivers. We work closely with each consumer to deliver services that reflect individual needs, personal choice, and self-determination.
