Deliver an evening snack to Lyngblomsten's care center residents, and socialize and make friends along the way! This is a great opportunity for families with younger children.

TIME COMMITMENT: The treats are to be delivered between 7:00 and 8:00 in the evening. Depending upon how much visiting is done between the volunteer(s) and the residents, it can take between 45 minutes and an hour to deliver all of the snacks.

TRAINING REQUIRED: The volunteer(s) will be shown where to gather the treat cart and which neighborhoods to deliver the treats to. Neighborhood staff are available for questions at any time during delivery of snacks.

Lyngblomsten provides compassionate care to older adults through residential and community services. Volunteers of all ages are welcomed to explore over 100 unique and varied opportunities. While short-term options may be available periodically, we encourage longer-term commitments given the exceptional level of orientation, training and on-going education Lyngblomsten provides in support of its volunteers.
