Come join us at the Carlsbad Marathon to motivate the runners. Just by showing up, you'll also help us raise money for Huntington's Disease - no need to ask for donations, your presence is enough.

The event is on Sunday, January 19, 2020 (06:00 AM ~ 11:30 PM - the sign up form says 5:30, but we don't actually need volunteers until 6am). If you've never witnessed a marathon before, you should! It's absolutely inspiring to see everyone on the route doing something so remarkable. It's such a worthwhile experience!

The more volunteers we have, the more the event organizers will donate to the cause. Volunteers will be asked to hold signs, clap, cheer, and generally just bring positive energy to the runners. Snacks, coffee and water, and t-shirts will be provided. We will also send emails out to all volunteers with suggestions for signs (if they wish to make them) or other items to bring along to help spread positive energy.

All you have to do is show up, bring a cheery disposition and a willingness to spread it to the thousands of athletes running past.
