Infromation Desk volunteers provide customer service support to the Hospital's patients, visitors, and staff. Under the direction of the information Desk Supervisor, they are responsible for greeting, providing directions, and daily escort of visitors, including assisting patients in wheel chairs and transporting.
Ability to work as part of a team. Must be enthusiastic, friendly, patient and dependable. Must enjoy interacting with the public and be able to communicate effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds. Prefer physically fit and able to assist patients in wheel chairs and transport to desired locations throughout the Hospital.
As of 12/01/16, shifts available include: Tuesday, Friday mornings 7am-11am; Wednesdays 11am-2pm; Mondays 8am-noon (surgical waiting room).
Long term commitment of one four hour shift per week for 6 months (total of 96 hours) required.
