Are you interested in learning how to prepare basic tax returns? Do you have some time to volunteer during the upcoming tax season to help those in your community?
Serve your community as a volunteer tax preparer!
Currently, NeighborWorks Umpqua is recruiting volunteers to prepare tax returns for low-to-moderate means families in Roseburg through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA).
No Professional Experience Required! All volunteers receive FREE and flexible training to become IRS certified, with support provided before, during, and after tax season!

Flexible days. Our Roseburg site is open for appointments 9am-1pm M-F. Our Coastal site is open 9-1 Tue-Sat for appointments and we are open 9-5 on those days for self-prepared taxes.
We have openings for greeters, too!!

- Orientation or Training
- Must be able to learn and certify in tax preparation before January 31, 2022 and be available up to 4 hours a shift. Opportunities include greeters and tax preparers each day we are open from 9-5. Afternoon shifts will help our self-serve customers.
