THE ONE LESS FOUNDATION is seeking volunteers to teach and lead Financial Literacy & Capability (Financial Education) classes. The program consists of sessions that last for six (6) weeks and uses curriculum developed by us, and also uses budgeting software (YNAB) and on-line tutorials from the FDIC.

We are looking for volunteers that can commit to at least six (6) weeks, but welcome a longer commitment.

Our sessions are scheduled to be held at the following times, with each class lasting for 90 minutes:

Monday, Wednesday and Friday at times vary, typically between 11:00am - 4:00pm

Tuesday and Thursday at times vary, typically between 5:00pm and 7:00pm

Saturday at 10:00am - 3:00pm

There are opportuntities to lead this class at one of the third party non-profit organizations that we support with our programs.

Each class holds up to 10 participants, who will be provided all of the materials that are needed for the program.

We are seeking individuals prefrrably with experience or a background in Finance, Banking or Education; however we are open to all volunteers regardless of experience as long as you are willing to learn.

Our mission at THE ONE LESS FOUNDATION is to help under-served members of the community become one less individual or family remaining in poverty by teaching financial education through seminars and classes and providing one-on-one mentoring and life coaching.
