A volunteer’s role in Child Life is to bring a smile and lend a helping hand in ways that increase the comfort and care provided to patients and their families. Volunteers will provide supervision to play activities, diversion in the playroom and at bedside for pediatric and adolescent patients and their families.
Have a special skill or interest? Let us know! Our kids and families would love for volunteers to lead them in craft projects, play musical instruments, etc.

CURRENT TIME SLOTS AVAILABLE:
Volunteers must be available to serve a 4-hour shift:
- weekdays 10pm to 7pm
- weekends 10am to 6pm
QUALIFICATIONS
Volunteers must:
- successfully complete the volunteer screening process including online application, interview, health screening/ drug test and background check
- have patience and a desire for working with children
- be at least 18 years old and have completed high school
- commit to serving at least one day per week, same day and time each week, for six or more months
We are NOT accepting high school students to serve as volunteers at this time.
