Colorful Hands

Losing the ability to drive can be devastating for seniors and individuals with disabilities in our community.

When you become a driver with either one of the Fort Collins/Loveland/Berthoud nonprofit volunteer driving services you keep a senior mobile and active. Providing transportation to medical appointments, social lunches, grocery stores, and special events is an easy yet powerful way to serve. You give someone the ability to stay independent in their own home without giving up the freedom to travel around town! These programs are totally dependent on volunteers like you!

Your time commitment is flexible. You can be a regularly scheduled driver or a substitute. You'll receive training, support, supplemental insurance and gas reimbursement while you volunteer. And you're likely to make a few new friends while cruising around town!

The AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP program specializes in placing adults age 55+ into service in their community. Let us help you find your best fit and connect you to an agency where you'll find purpose and meaning in your work. Volunteers support a variety of causes, including elderly care, food and housing insecurity, disaster relief support, animal care, cultural interests and more. Benefits include personalized placement assistance, free training, community events, and insurance. Join us today!
