Did you know that 4,370 seniors in Guilford County live in a household that does not have access to a vehicle?
You can volunteer to help seniors in your community to stay as independent as possible by providing them with much needed transportation to the grocery store, dry cleaners, and other non-medical related places.
Volunteers must be 55 years or older to enroll in the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program.
The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program is a Senior Corps program administered by the Corporation for National & Community Service and is sponsored locally by Senior Resources of Guilford.
