Volunteers can truly touch the lives of the patients and families in Hospice who are facing a terminal illness by providing patient & family support and caregiver relief. Volunteers provide emotional support and practical assistance that enhances the comfort and quality of life for patients and family/caregivers. These services include being available for companionship, listening, simply "being there", and may include activities such as playing cards, board games, watching a favorite TV show, reading, looking through photos, journaling about events in the person's life, and preparing meals.

For more information, please contact our Hospice Volunteer Coordinator at (916) 977-3132.
