The Santa Fe Concert Band is an all-volunteer band that provides free music to the community through park concerts during the summer months and participation in national holiday and municipal celebrations (Memorial Day, 4th of July, etc.)
The band is open to musicians of all abilities. There are no auditions. Rehearsals are once a week at the Salvation Army building on west Alameda.

The Santa Fe Concert Band is one of Santa Fe, New Mexico's oldest traditions: free public concerts by volunteer musicians; to provid park concerts during the summer months, to participate in national holiday and municipal celebrations (Memorial Day, 4th of July, etc.), and to hold a holiday concert in December.
Description
The Santa Fe Concert Band is an all volunteer organization . The members play out of a love for music, a desire to play, and to enjoy the company of other folks with similar interests.
The Board of Directors is made up of elected volunteers who serve by a vote of the band members.
The band rehearses once a week and is open to musicians of all abilities. There are no auditions; each erson is expected to judge his/her own skills and choose parts suited to those skills.
Members provide their own instruments and music stands. The band's only posessions are its music and a few percussion instruments.
The band is a 5019(c)(3) organization and is incorporated as a New Mexico non-profit.
